Admission Procedure:
For seeking admission to any course in TNSOCE, the candidate has to fill an application form given in the prescribed format and paste the photo in the required field. The candidate will have to ensure that all the information provided is correct. Also the student has to fill in the field meant for admit card and pay the requisite fees by cash, Demand Draft or by online payment. Cheques will not be accepted at any time and failing to honour this will result in cancellation of admission and return of application form.
General Conditions for Admission:
A student seeking admission to any course in TNSOCE will be eligible for admission to that course only if he/she :
(i) has been studying in a School recognised by or affiliated to this Board or any other recognised Board of Secondary Education in India;
(ii) has passed qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination making him eligible for admission to that course;
(iii) satisfies the requirements of age limits (minimum and maximum) as determined by the State/U. T. Government and applicable to the place where the institution is located;
(iv) Produces:
(a) The School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate signed by the Head of the Institution last attended and countersigned
(b) Document(s) in support of his having passed the qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination; and
(c) Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Birth and Deaths, where-ever existing, as proof of date of birth
(v) Pays the required fees in full without any dues
Eligibility:
The students who have passed X Standard (Secondary Education) / XII Standard (Higher Secondary Education) in any recognized Board or Institution is eligible to apply for Vocational Courses.
